DIGITAL X-RAY IS JUST THE START WITH IMAGE METRICS METRON SOFTWARE
ENTER ANOTHER
DIMENSION.......
...... THE THIRD DIMENSION

Our unique software has powerful image editing,
image enhancement and manipulation and,
within 2 minutes, enables the superimposition of accurate geometric mark up
measurements on radiographic and photographic images in turn enabling the
creation of.......
•
3D Models of the bones in the equine lower leg,
based on the
guided mark-up picks done on one standard lateral radiograph in
just two minutes. These bones can then be viewed from any angle
and the joints articulated within the 3D model.
• A “morph” between any two images or composite images
e.g.
a precise superimposition of a radiograph of a coffin bone over a
digital photograph of a hoof, which is automatically facilitated via
the software. A “morph” is an animation in which the first image
(the “before” image) gradually turns into the second image (the
“after” image) with a resultant dramatic video effect of change
over time. The Veterinarian is better able to view and monitor
change over time. It is a great aid to client understanding on
matters surrounding Laminitis, the extent of coffin bone rotation
or sinking and Founder.
• Pre-formatted reports automatically.
Multi-page client
reports with a series of these images which will show change
and improvement over time, before and after images, X-ray
or ultrasound images and digital photographs. Images are
automatically cropped, scaled, and placed on the report pages.
Optional comments or suggestions from the veterinarian may be
placed on each page. Reports have the practitioner’s clinic logo
and contact information on the cover page and contain images
with mark-up as well as captions and other practitioner specific
information.
Full small animal and equine veterinarian software
capability within the one software package

• Making CD’s and written reports for client in a minute
• Viewing Detail-Rich X-Rays on your laptop, in just
thirty-five seconds.
• Driving straight to your next appointment, or
heading
home, without ever having to process film or return
for retakes.
• No film processing required, no disposal of, or
purchase of costly chemicals
• No waiting for films to be developed, or the
cleaning
and reloading of cassettes with less sedation required
for animals due to speed of process
• Eliminating cost of darkroom supplies and
chemicals
and maintenance costs associated with processing
equipment, film purchasing, archiving, darkroom
facilities, equipment and associated processing costs.

FIT 2000-3 (Mobile) Field Portable |
- An individual's eye is given a controlled amount of light
- Four ocular measurements are made, Resting Pupil Diameter, Amplitude of constriction response of the pupil to light, Latency of constriction response of the pupil to light and Saccadic Velocity, a test using side to side vision.
- By comparing an individual's baseline reaction to his/her current reaction, impairment can be spotted
- Different impairment factors have different tell-tale effects on the eye's reaction to light and is detected both when subjects are impaired and on-the-downside and when they are recovering .

The Products
ScanX Technology
ScanX utilizes computed radiography (CR). Replacing film, CR utilizes phosphor storage plates (PSP) which are flexible plastic plates coated with an x-ray sensitive phosphor material. Phosphor plates are durable and reusable thousands of times. Upon exposure to x-rays, the plate stores a latent image which is scanned by ScanX. The provided computer software enhances the digital image to aid in diagnosis. Save images to your computer or to CD-ROM for easy retrieval and huge space savings in your office.
Incomparable Ease of Use |
One step scanning, just insert the plate. No drums to load. No need for chemistry, processor maintenance or duplicating film. ScanX digital imaging systems operate in normal room lighting. |
